I'm Back

So ladies I have been such a bad blogger lately and I can only say I'm sorry.
I am 100% back and you will see many more posts over the next few days.
I feel its only fair that I should explain where I've been and whats been going on.
Well it starts with my weekend, not only have I been at work I also went out the weekend and as many of you are aware it takes a while to recover.
Over the past few days I've been working like mad and ended up going to Hereford race course for my Dads birthday which meant unfortunately my blogging was put on hold.
I can promise that I'm back and ready to blog again. I cant believe how fast this month is going already, and now I'm having a mad rush for Christmas presents. Aaaaaaa! So any advice you have on getting presents quickly would be lovely!
I've got so many new posts that I'm working on that I hope you will all love and of course I'll carry on what I've already started.

Enjoy ladies, and lets get into the Christmas mood.

100 Day Photo Challenge: Day 2

Okay, so what does day 2 have in store for us?

Day 2: A photo that makes you happy.

Now this is a picture of me and my boyfriend of 4 years. The reason this makes me feel happy is because this was taken this year during our first holiday just the two of us, so it brings back happy memories of being away and finally being adults. I'm sure there will be many more holidays and memories to add to the collection.

Quote of the Day #2

Another quote to get you guys thinking.

Never give up, even when you believe there is no hope there will always be a light at the end of the tunnel. If you continue to try, eventually you will succeed and that will be the moment you know that everything you have done up until that point will have been worth every second.
So my message to you all today is:

Don't Give Up.

100 Day Photo Challenge: Day 1

I'm sure some of you may have heard of the 100 day photo challenge, for those of you who haven't its where each day you post a photo of something different. So I'm going to give it a go

Day 1: A picture of yourself.

The only picture that I have that is pretty recent is this one. It was taken before a night out a while ago but I still look roughly the same apart from my hairs slightly darker.

Quote Of The Day #1

I read this quote today and it made me think about life, and to be honest the quote is completely right. How can you move on in your life if you continue to dwell on something that happened in the past.
It can be about the smallest thing or even something massive that's happened in your life but to be able to move on you need to be able to think ahead.
The future is what you make of it and only you are in control of your life so you have to decide what paths you choose.
Live life to the fullest and enjoy every moment you have with people around you that care.

Converse

Just a quick post for all your converse lovers.

I have a major love for converse and I cant get enough of them.
So I recently went on the converse website looking for a new unique pair and found that you could make your own converse which are specifically made just for you and your style.
At first I thought it was just going to be picking your own colour fabric for the whole shoe but this was the opposite of what I expected
Every aspect of your individual converse is picked by you, from the lace colour, to the sole colour and even to the stitching colour. Its brilliant, they even offer your patterns to add onto it instead of just plain coloured fabric.
I would definitely recommend you give it a try and have a look at the different styles you can make.
Below is my personal design for converse and I love them!!!
I will definitely be looking at buying these

What designs would you want??

Christmas Bucket List

So today I've decided to do a bucket list just for Christmas, I'm sure you have heard of a bucket list but for people that haven't its basically a list of things you want to do by a certain time. Most people do a bucket list of things they want to do before they die and I will also be doing one of these throughout my blog. But for this post I'm going to write a bucket list just for Christmas.
Here is my bucket list:

1. Go Ice-Skating.
2. Go out and get very drunk.
3. Watch the classic Christmas movies such as; Home Alone, Elf, Santa Claus Movie, etc.

4. Make plans for New Years Eve.
5. Get all my Christmas shopping done before 23rd December (I have a habit of leaving it til last minute).
6. Bake some Christmas cookies and cakes.
7. Spend as much time with my boyfriend, friends & family.

8. Go late night Christmas shopping.
9. Decorate the house ready for Christmas.
10. Enjoy Christmas and eat loads.

What are the things you want to do this Christmas? Do you have a bucket list?

Must Have

Just a small post about a pair of boots that I love and I would say they are a must have!

Now I'm sure you have all seen these amazing boots!! I love them and although the real boots are a lot of money, you can get some copies which look just as good and for a much better price.
They do these boots in suede or leather and they look great, you can also get them with studs which of course is a fashion must have this season.
These boots can be worn on a night out with a dress or even for a more casual day to day look with a pair of jeans. They are great with anything and add a great style to your outfit.
I found these boots online on Ebay starting from £18.99 which is a great price for a pair of boots. I love them.

What do you think? What are your must haves this season?

Confession No.2

So confession number 2, I wonder what it could be.
Ummm a secret crush, another addiction or maybe even something I've done.
Well lets find out!

Okay, so this confession is something I never thought I'd confess too! I hate to admit it and as a 20 year old young lady I really shouldn't be admitting to it! But I have a love for a certain song by a certain band. Before this song I have never even wanted to listen to them, but right now I cant get the song out of my head! The song that I have a huge love for right now is:

Little things - One Direction

I cant believe I'm admitting it but the song is amazing. Its actually completely different to all the other songs I've heard from them and to be honest sounds a lot more mature.
I'm sure there are many One Direction fans out there that may well read this and not understand why I am confessing to liking them, but to me One Direction are your classic boy band ruled by the music master himself, Simon Cowell. They are generated to sing silly pop tracks that all sound the same, but there may well be hope for One Direction after all. I've listened to a lot of their new album and I have to say I'm very impressed. It finally sounds like they have their own voice and are using their talent to create something that is their own, instead of whats instructed by the music man.
Now don't get my wrong I know that each and every member of that band is completely and utterly talented, so before all you One Direction fans attack me I get it there great! All I'm saying is that it's really refreshing to see them do something different and have their own style.
Of course this is just my opinion, so way to go One Direction! Loving the new album and single!!

What music or band do you have a secret love for??

Confession No.1

So through out this blog you'll get to know some of my confessions, and slowly get to know the truth about me. This confession is my first of many!!! And its all about my addiction, I have many addictions and to be honest I love them all.
This addiction isn't like most addictions its not illegal, its not dangerous although I'm sure my boyfriend would say I'm dangerous around them. Now before you start thinking I'm some crazy chick that has an addiction to drugs or alcohol you'd be wrong. I'm actually sure most girls have this addiction as we all cant live without them.
 My addiction is SHOES.
I completely and utterly love them and even though I have way to many shoes that I hardly ever wear and still have the need to buy more. I just cant help myself, I love them, hardly any shoe is the same as the next, unless of course you buy two sets of exactly the same shoe which I can understand! You can get so many its unbelievable all in completely different styles, from flats to heels. From glitzy to plain. From boots to trainers. I love them all!

Here are a few of my babies!! The first pair are a black suede heel with a gold platform at the bottom. I brought these from Next in one of their sales and I love them so much, they are so sophisticated and elegant. The middle pair are wedge high tops from Next also. I didn't even realise they had a heel in them until I tried them on and I love them. The last pair are a gorgeous baby pink set of heels with a gorgeous bow with silver beads of the end. I got them from Primark and completely love them, they were a real bargain.

These are a few shoes that I found online that I think are gorgeous and would love to own myself. The first pair are amazing! Trainers and heels WOW! What more could you ask for in a shoe. I love them and will definitely be looking into getting myself a pair. The middle pair is Prada flats, now I can only dream that one day I will own a pair of Prada shoes, so here's to dreaming! The last pair I found, I thought were quite edgy and different, the zip going down the front looks gorgeous and I think they'd be perfect with a pair of jeans.

So there's confession number 1, I have a shoe addiction. I'm sure you'll so get to realise that I have many more addictions.
What are your addictions?

Winter

So, winter is coming and all I can think about is Christmas and the long painful task of running round busy shops grabbing gifts for all the family. So to make it slightly easier for you guys I'm going to do a few must have gifts for everyone, and I will do this over the weeks coming up to Christmas
Now don't get me wrong I LOVE Christmas, but the busy shops I don't love. So this year I'm making sure I'm prepared and I'm going to make sure that I have everyone's gifts written on a piece of paper so I can run in and out of every store.
I also want to make sure that I actually enjoy this Christmas and make the most of being young. So I plan to get out and spend as much time as I can with my boyfriend, family and friends. This also means making sure that I have all the fashion musts for this season, and as the weather is drastically changing I can't wait to get into all my knitted goodies and coats. There are so many gorgeous knitted jumpers out there this year so nobody can be without.
I'm sure like most of you, your hoping for a snowy Christmas, well at least I am as I love snow and I love snow at Christmas! It actually makes it feel a lot more like Christmas if there's a white blanket of snow covering the floor on Christmas morning I'm seriously happy. It sounds quite childish as I'm nearly 20 but no matter how old I get I'm sure I'm always gonna love Christmas and snow.

I hope you guys look forward to reading my gift guides for this year, and I look forward to reading yours too.
Are you looking forward to Christmas this year? Are you a lover of snow?
Let me know I'd love to hear your opinions on Christmas.

Tag - About Me

I saw this on a few different blogs and I thought I'd give it ago and share a few details about myself to let everyone get to know me a bit better, so here goes:

Are you named after anyone?

I cant remember the last time I cried tbh, possibly over a film as I do love a good soppy movie.

No, not just yet but hopefully in the future.
Do you use sarcasm a lot?

My eyes are blue.
Scary movie or happy ending?
Both tbh, I love a good scary movie or a horror but I also love a happy ending or a comedy. I love a whole range of movies and like to watch anything at least once.
Favourite smells?
The smell of food, the smell of cakes, the smell of vanilla, the smell of new clothes, the smell of freshly cut grass and the smell of DKNY.
Summer or Winter?
Again I have to say both, as I love summer to be in the hot weather and go out and do more things but I also love cuddling up with a cuppa in my snuggies and chilling out in bed.
Computer or television?
Computer and TV!
What's the furthest you've been away from home?
America, Florida!
Do you have any special talents?
Not really.
Where were you born?
The Midlands, UK.
What are your hobbies?
Blogging, making pretty jewellery, doing gel nails, going to second-hand and vintage shops/markets, reading, writing, baking, crafts - lots!
Favourite movies?
I have way to many, from classics like Pretty Woman, to horrors like Saw and even comedies like Forgetting Sarah Marshall. I love so many films I couldn't possibly name them all.

I hope that has given you a better in sight in to me!!

Why?

Why is the question. Why have I decided to write a blog. Well to be honest with you I have always loved the idea of a blog and the idea of just writing away and not worrying about anything. So I have decided to start one now

You may ask why now, well if I'm honest its to do with the fact that I have some spare time as I don't work everyday, so I've decided to take up a hobby. This blog will be all about my interests, my life and anything that I feel like having a ramble about.

My main interests are fashion and beauty, as I love keeping up to date with the latest trends, so you will notice a lot of posts about that. I also love books and movies, so you will also see the odd ramble about the latest book I've read or movies that I've watched. I also love cooking and food, who doesn't! So you may see posts about food or recipes. Basically this blog will be about everything and anything, sometimes odd silly rambles, sometimes more serious issues and even occasionally about my life in general.

I hope you enjoy reading and I'll certainly continue to read other peoples blogs.
